jdm engine

good morning guys my question is i installed a jdm engine into my 2006 acura mdx i had to find a jdm starter which i did now my starter doesnt turn the engine to start since i have to use that starter what should i do next ? does a jdm flywheel bolt on direct ? could that be the issue ? any help greatly appreciated
