Hi everybody!
I want to learn the role, task and material of the engine block.
Solution to increase engine power.
Thanks!

Those are some pretty broad questions, and the role and task is pretty much the same thing, so I'm not s sure if there's maybe a translation issue there.

The role/task is essentially to contain the crankshaft, combustion chambers, water jackets, oil passages, and pistons and keep them aligned. If it's not an overhead camshaft (OHC) design, then the block will also have the camshaft in it.

The typical materials for automotive engines are iron or aluminum.

From the perspective of increasing power, that's usually bolting something on to the block or adding items to the engine elsewhere. There's not a lot to do the block to increase power. But the heads and manifolds can add power, and they get bolted to the block.
