Will a 4L65E tranmission replace my 4L60E transmission?

I'm replacing my 4L60E transmission in my 1999 GMC Sierra C1500 4X2 4.8 L extended cab pickup.

When I got home I saw the salvage yard sold me a 4L65E transmission and I understand the input spline shaft may be different.
Will the 4L65E fit behind my 4.8L engine without modifying it?
Will all of the connectors fit?
I don't want to get the transmission under the truck and find it won't fit.
