How long have u owned your honda for?

How long have all of you had your cars for?Ive owned mine for about a year

i had my 88 DX from 05 /01, thn uhntill the Si came untill summer 02, and then i crashed on 02/03, then i got th e 91DX in 005/03........ here are pics: www.skyflite.com/4g i think........

sometimes my car pisses me off so much i feel like selling it

I jus cant picture myself in another car.

Yeah I get bored of how slow it is, but other than that, not really, its treated me well

never owned a honda in my life, drove one for a weekend once lol

4 or 5 years. I love my 4th gen, and now I've spent too much on it to get into something else. :biggrin:

6 months...and counting......but not too much longer, her miles r gettin up there, and dont really want a swap..might get a 5th gen. then plan a swap there...

april 01 but then it got wrecked and i bought a clond this april 03.

I have owned my 92 since 1995, and I've had my 91 for a little over a year now. I will own both cars untill they rot back into the earth.

Ive had my 1990 Honda Civic EX 4 Door since March 1990. Well actually my parents bought it then and gave it to me this February when i turned 16. :bigthumb:

I got my CRX WAY back in early summer of 2000... owned it until summer 2001 (although now I wish I'd kept it)... bought a 91 Accord EX... owned it until early 2002... traded it in on my 98 Civic EX, and amazingly I'm still in my 98 a year and half later.
Currently looking to purchase another Civic (looking for a 4d4g)... eventually to replace the 98.

my first one was in 97...my last one i bought was couple months ago

Well I might sell mine.I just got my car painted and the guy that painted it left it all rough and with lots of swirls.Like if he pained it with a spray can.Well im a dumbass for not checking what he was paining it with.The guy skipped town.I only paid him 150 but he ruined the car.Im thinking of getting my bro's 95 M3.He has DINAN cold air,AC shnitzer shortshifter,Touring exhaust and it hits about 150 mph in the freeway.But ill be in deth for life.

My fiance is buying mine for me! I get it in about 2 weeks!!

Has anyone here owned their 4G since it was new? My parents bought mine in '90 and gave it to me in February this year so i consider it still in the "original owner" category.

my civic hatch I had from aug 1999 to march 2002 and I bought the CRX in Dec 2000 and still have it.

I never see him around anymore, but 13secondcivic bought his civic new off the showroom floor... and in that time he's done who knows how many mods to it.
At one point he had a fully built D16A6 in it... at one point a ZC... and most recent thing I heard about was a B16a he had put in.
He'd always tell us about him storing his car away and tearing it every down every winter to check it for rust and work on it keeping it ready to drive for the next spring/summer.

Although, like I said... I haven't seen him on the forums in FOREVER, so I don't know what happened to him or his car.

5 years and counting

only thing replaces was one CV joint , the timing belt , and the clutch!!

i had my white civic from the 21st September until 26th February

and the blue one from 9th march until present

Bought mine when I was a senior in high-school... April of '95, so just over 8 years.

my 1st accor i don't wanna talk about:mad: but my first hatch i got in february 02 the it got totaled in september 02. got my second hatch in october or november 02 and i still have it

3 1/2 years, didn't start workin on it till about a 1 1/2 years ago. I didn't really get into imports till after I shattered my ankle (can't ride bikes that much anymore) Luckily I have enough movement in it to do some cheesy three pedaling :silly:

dude why would you want to be in debt? if you're not in it now, you don't wanna be, knowing that you can't buy anything else for your car, you have to wait and wait and wait to buy something for it, for the money you put in to that thing, you could have something a little cheaper base price and have fun pimpin it the hell out!

The SiR for almost 3 years now, the red GL hatch that was it's predecessor for 18 months. Before that, about 9 1st gen Civics including a JDM RS1200, a second gen "S" plus a '88 Accord Si.

Not quite new - I bought mine in December 1994 - I am the 2nd owner...there was a chick that owned it before me and she traded it in on something newer I think, since I bought mine from a Honda dealer.

I traded in my 85 Civic 4-door and got $300 for it because the engine wouldn't push the car over 50 MPH :bloated: - I used to get fire shooting back out the carburator...my step-dad figured there was excessive carbon build-up on the valves, and they didn't seal anymore

I've had my 89 Civic Si since January of 2003.

(BTW, after 7 months of storage and 2 months of working on it, the 89 is almost ready for the road, still looks like crap though) :icon16:
