Trying to pull the left front hub out of my 2004 Yukon Denali as ythe bearing is bad. I have done at least 20 of these over the years and always got them apart without too mich trouple. Except for today
Got all the bolts off, caliper off, caliper bracket off etc. Trying to get the hub loose from the housing and it isn't budging. I am the first one to admit I can't swing a hammer the way I could when I was 25 but I can't even budge it. Can't drive a screwdriver in the crack. Ait chisel won't break it loose. Swinging a hammer won't break it loose. Any tricks or tips that anyone has would be very much appreciated.

Try heating around the housing, that should help it move. Don't get it red of course. Lol

Tried heat, no help. I am giving it5 one more hour. If it still hasn't come out I am buying a new spindle. I have way too many hours in this thing.

Thanks for the suggestion

Today I tried 3 pieces of threaded rod with nuts and washers through the stud holes. Kept turning one nut at a time and it eventually pulled the sleeve of the hub right out of the inner bearing, leaving the bearing still in the spindle. 1 cotter pin, 3 nuts and about 6 whacks with a hammer later the knuckle was laying under the truck. Ordered spindle and hub and looking forward to putting it back together more easily. Thanks again for all the suggestions
