They are on a roll with 80's "Neo Historical" subjects, which seem to struck a particular cord with car kit buyers in Japan.

I'm sure it will look good alongside the R31 Skylines. The 3.0 GT Turbo Limited will come first in December. This being Hasegawa the next version will probably be the Turbo A with a new bumper, and the Group A cars should follow soon. The Twin Turbo 2.5, with a set of new wheels and decals but the same bumper as the 3.0 GT Limited, should come out down the road.
Japanese modellers are already calling for the Starion. Let's see if they follow up with the wide body.

I don't know if we need another A70 Supra. Tamiya kit was pretty decent.

Metal axles and fog lights molded into the bumper do not make the grade any more. Their Group A Supra has a piece of round plastic as brakes. Fujimi's is even worse.
The A70 Supra is perfect for Hasegawa. Minimum 3 versions with a front bumper and wheel swap, 3 possible race car liveries, and exactly what the Japanese market wants.

I even tried installing the toolbox first, but it didn’t work.

Would be nice to see the rally version of this. Not a huge success for TTE due to it being a bit on the heavy side, but Waldegaard did reasonably well with it on the HK-Beijing IIRC
