what gen is this..?

hey guys, im buying a 89 hatch next week and i was just wondering what gen the 89 is. i was wanting a crx for the past year, but i just got offered a great deal by my friend for his hatch, so i figured i better take it. thanks - matt

yea its a 4th. Here are the yrs, i could be mistaken on the 3rd gen though.

84-87=3rd gen 88-91=4th gen 92-95=5th gen 96-2000=6th gen

Im not sure on the yrs for the 7th gen
