Sports car in movie

I was trying to find out the make and model of the sports car. It had "bug eyes" headlights. The car was similar to a Triumph TR2 but the body was different. Who made the car?

That's a MG A roadster.

Wrong car. The grille was different. The headlights stick out from between the fenders and hood. It had vent windows.
