It's not the bike, it's the rider. Fastest is subjective. Ask something more specific.

I say the R6 because I did. I feel that it is the fastest with a rider that is not a pro-racer, on the track. The others are fast till you get to the corners.

the busa is definately the fastest bike, but maybe not the best bike for everyone. You can definately have more fun on a 600,but then the litre bikes are fun too.I'd like to pull a wheelie in fourth gear.

FASTEST IN TERMS OF WHAT???? I know a guy who will outride a Hayabusa without breaking a sweat all while riding twisties on a NINJA EX500!!!!!! Give me something SPECIFIC about "fast". Do you mean straight-line? Twisties? Top-end???

Well, I've seen a Hayabusa racing down the free-way going atleast 250mph. I was freakin shocked cause that's the fastest moving land object that I've ever seen. It was soo cool!

As fastest i mean quarter mile, top end,you name it.The busa is governed at 188 mph(300kph) it's the fastest production bike in the world.Get a copy of cycle world magazine and check its performance stats.
That's one bad ass bike!!

I am fully aware of the Hayabusa's abilities. GTR (my riding club) has... okay HAD 2 of them. The second one bit the dust on Sunday. I am saying that they are not necessarily the fastest things in the twisties. It has so much to do with the rider. Not to mention: Who cares about straights??? Any moron can ride that... I want to see who is dragging knees the fastest and is still coming out on top.

No Doubt the Hayabusa is one amazing motorcycle and it looks better than other bikes too!

Fast in the twisties is way more fun than flying down the hi-ways. I'd rather be hanging of the bike in corner at 70mph than going 200 down a perfectly straight road. I've rode with many people on bigger bikes that couldn't keep up when we got into the bends. Busa's are too long, & too heavy, and IMO they are ugly.

No they are just the size of a regular bike. Althought they are the fastest. Muahaha
What does IMO mean?

IMO = In My Opinion. Did I mention he's not the only one who thinks Busas are UGLY??? Just don't tell my friend Dave that... he'd never let me ride b!tch on his bike EVER if he read it. ;) And busas are HEAVY. Albeit the seating position is comfortable, but so is the seating position on my Seca II. I'd MUCH rather take it to the twisties. My 500 would RAIL in the corners and leave the 600s in the dust.

Busa-
Wheelbase: 58.5 in.
Dry Weight: 478 lbs.
GSX-R1000-
Wheelbase: 55.5 in
Dry Weight: 370 lbs
YZF-R6-
Wheelbase 54.3"
Dry Weight 357 Lbs.
Funny those numbers don't look the same. I meant what I said, they are big 3" longer than a 1000 and heavy by a 108 lbs.!!!
