I'm looking at 2 trucks both 2016s and crew cars 4wd. One has 20" wheels and loaded with Bose speakers the other is same colour with 18" wheels, Rancho shock option and loaded the same as the other one. Is the Bose option worth it? I really enjoy a good sounding stereo and am leaning towards this truck but am not crazy about the 20" wheels.

Bose is actually pretty low-grade equipment. Advent or Klpsche are much better drivers. Then again, you've got a cheap automotive-grade stereo head unit in the truck because, well, its a TRUCK. It's not an auditorium.
I know the dealer charged more for it when they sold the truck new, and we can't help the fact that most of the sheeple are pretty blonde sometimes and will tolerate marketing ploys like that. If someone wants more money because there is some wanna-be audio system installed, they have lost perspective. You'll never be able to reason with them, so move along.

You can join the crowd of Bose knockers (sheeple?) if you like but the Bose is a noticeable improvement over the base level radio. As for if it's worth it, that's for you to decide for yourself. Thousands of auto/truck buyers get the base-level radio and are quite satisfied with what they purchased. For me, having heard the difference on the Silverados, I don't think I could ever go to the base-level radio again. I'm not an audiophile nor do I listen to music every time I drive but the base-level radio sounds terrible now that I've heard what it could sound like in the horrible sound stage Blue Bowtie calls a truck.
