Hello, I wanted to see if anybody use the Hotchkis 2' drop performance springs? I would like to use them but I don't know if the turning of the wheels will be obstructed on my 69' Firebird (will the wheels hit the fenders or frame).

I'm redoing the front suspension, using tubular upper and lower control arms, and reusing the original spindles. Reusing the original brakes calipers (for now), 12" drilled and slotted rotors and 17 x 8 US mag wheels with low profile tires.

If I can get a lower stance to the front and have the turning capabilities as before using a combination of items stated above with the Hotchkis 2" performance drop springs. Your insight is most appreciated.

As a general rule, the entire movement of the stock suspension will not result in rubbing - so I would think that just replacing the springs would not change that.

However, other changes may. Things like control arms, or wheels/tires can not only change the movement, but change how much further out things are. Caution should be exercised in this area.
