Car tire bead bundle damage

Hey,
I got to eager when I was mounting winter tires and damaged the bead bundle on a tire.
So the question is if the damage is to much,

Yes, it is too much damage. The ply cords are exposed and that pressurizes them. Eventually the rubber will come off the cords - which in turn causes the now separated layers to rub against each other and eventually wearing through so that it doesn't hold air.
And that assumes you get a good seal at the damaged area, which you might not.

Yes. It is significant damage as the inner cords are visible. Driving with this condition could cause a sudden tire blowout.
