01 sportage window problems

So I recently bought a used 01 Kia sportage 4dr base model. So the passenger front window will go down but not up. Both the driver and passenger switches do the same thing. So far I have the door panel off and I disconnected the wiring harness to the regulator. I was trying to put the window up by hand but it wouldn't budge. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how to get the window up? TIA
