Hood won't open, cable broken!

Hey all,

I can not get the hood of my 2002 grand caravan open. I know that the cable used to pull and "pop" the hood is broken. I don't know how to get the hood to actually "pop" so that I can actually open it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
