Saw a 1955 Hillman Californian for sale in Classic Car magazine.At $3300 it would have been a funky little daily driver.Too bad,somebody beat me to it.Shame.If any of the Kiwi crew know where to find one in good order,don't ask why,just let me know.

the car doesn't look that bad....looks like it has character and that where i live it'd turn heads cuz it's a unique lil ride..hell i'd take that blue one with the white rims and white hardtop...that silver and blue one in the very very back.....that'd be a charasmatic car right there...almost like the classic love bug with the red and blue stripes and the #53 logo on the side:smile: Mr. T that'd be fitting i think...hope that you find one:smile:

The car has gained 200+kgs, but lost 50hp and 10lb/ft of torque, not to mention the fuel injection, 4 valves and about 2,500rpm off the red line and over 3,000rpm off the power band.

I might get some compition from Taz's GTE, but lets just say you could probobly run the 1/4 twice before I did it once :bigthumb: :bigthumb:


Im afraid that if this car is ever going to see a track its going to be one with corners on it, Iv got some el-cheapo ENDURO's on the back which have, well....... created a more nuetral tending towards oversteer feel to the car :icesangel
