Ferrari 360 Spider

Hey Guys

Alex's words have resonated with me, Yes I have been lazy & not posting my builds, I should have been better, So feeling inspired, I'm gonna give it a go & build (& post) something without being lazy!
Was staring at the stash & wondering what I could build, that I either
A) Had , B) Didnt need extras for, C) Something decent, not too easy but not too hard.
Then it hit me, & I had a laugh out loud moment. Why not build a 360 spider....

Open to suggestions & your thoughts on colour combos etc.

Good start. I always wanted to build one, I have 3 kits, but after building 2 coupes I kinda lost interest (essentially the same kit) and never built one.
I think blue/tan is a good color combo. Or maybe silver/red?

I like Blu TdF and Blu Elettrico.
If you want to add stripes you could also add some "sportier" transkit. But then it will of course be no quick OOB build any more.
Azzuro California or Grigio Alloy could also work.

My opinion would be blue with a cream interior.

Nice subject, the hardest part is always picking the body color.

Im a fan of that blue/tan spider. Im using that for an inspiration to my build as well.

No not yet, but a mate got some for me recently, I've got 2 colours at home that I'm itching to spray on something!!! But i don't think Bulliet Green or Miami Blue would look that great on this 360. Gonna place an order for some more splash paints soon, they've added so many awesome colours recently!

Made some progress over the weekend! Molded the 360CS rear hatch "bump" into the Spider hatch. Needs some sanding & a few touchups, but pretty happy with it so far, its a tiny bit higher than the 360CS but thats ok with me.

Definitely a touch higher than CS, but looks good.

I have this kit as well, but I picked it up for extra parts since my dog chewed up the engine after I glued it together.

I need to get back on my 360 built as well.

Made some progress over the weekend! Laid down some Zero paint! I forgot how awesome this stuff is, so easy to spray, great coverage & looks fantastic without much work.

Also decided to go a slightly different way with the interior, istead of the generic tan colour I thought I'd go with a more modern interior colour, like this GT4 Lusso.

I think I had exactly the same reference picture to paint my GTC4 Lusso, only I used Blu Medio instead of Blu TdF. :)

I agree with others on the interior choice.
Also, good to see Ferrari getting a bit more interesting interior colors in production than 00's mundane fare.
