Infinity Sound Sys Cuts Out

My 2000 Gr Caravan has Infinity speakers but not the original radio/cd. When the radio is turned up the sound frequently cuts out (clips). I changed the deck but it made no difference. The problem seems to be the factory amps that are attached to each speaker. Is my system broken? Is there a way to connect an aftermarket radio/cd player to the Infinity speakers so they will work? Does anyone know the specs for this system?

I would go to eBay and buy one from there. Currently I purchased one that the seller said would be 100% work, but it won't accept the cassette. That's ok! I printed all the paperwork and plan on going to my issuer of my credit card and get the whole amount charged back. I've been told you can't use the Infinity speakers on an aftermarket deck. I have a portable CD player that I use by plugging in a cassette adaptor. I think it sounds great. I hope that helps. Yankeedrummer
