I have an Infiniti G37 (2011). I used Nissan Consult III Plus to enter the pin and start programming new Key Fobs.

I was able to clear the existing keys , but am not able to program the new Fob(s).

Consult III provides instructions, but the Key light never blinks 5 times as it indicates that it should.

I have tried all 3 options:

Replace ECM (used part)
Replace BCM
Register Key

For each options, it gets stuck at the same place. Please help me understand the sequence of commands I need to program the new Keys.

This is a Push to start vehicle and is completely stuck right now.

Thanks,

Neal M.

Does the Consult III or service manual indicate if there are any initial conditions that need to be satisfied before programming, such as all doors closed, hood open, etc.?

Not that it matters now, but why did you clear all the fobs before programming new? Usually you can add additional fobs without clearing the original ones. I don't know if that might be part of the issue.

I've done this process on Fords, Mercedes, and Chrysler, but never had to do it on my former G35 so I'm not familiar with the specifics.

This is required for programming new Intelligent Keys.

You do not have the option of adding new without erasing the old ones. Do you know anyone familiar with Consult III or Nissan cars ?

Thanks.

Yeah, you could try the Infiniti G forum within Automotive forums here or you could go to the manufacturer-specific forum (https://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/index.php) and select your model (coupe or sedan). There are some folks there that know these cars quite well. There's also a Knowledgebase that has factory service manual information available. I'm a moderator over there as well (same username) so if you have issues you can let me know.
