I've been thinking of taking my Revell LaFerrari kit and converting it into the Aperta version. I can't find on this forum that anyone has done this. I haven't studied the Aperta version of the carin great detail, but certainly at first glance it looks like a pretty simple conversion.
Any thoughts, suggestions?

I've been building a Tamiya kit into an Aperta. Just haven't had the time to take some pictures yet. Maybe I can take a quick one tonight to give you an idea.
When there will be some sun again I will take and post some more pictures and also make a small WIP.

In a nutshell, this is what I changed on my kit:
- special emblem '70 years' between the seats
- additional clear part (windbreaker?) on the upper end between the seats
- different coloring for the dashboard, extra red lines, red details on the air vents…
- of course cut off door-roofs with A- and B-pillars, and removing the middle part of the center roof
- filling the recess in the center of the b-pillar-roof in front of the rear lid with putty
- twill-weave C/F decals with black painting and add. details on the new A- and B-pillars
- rework the doors so some part of the C/F structure underneath will show (above the side indicators)
- body painted with Zero Paints Canna di Fucile, as I liked the first presentation car quite much
- red decals similar to FXX-K from a Studio27 sheet
- special emblem '70 years' on the sides
- special license plate
