Hi Folks. My wife's 2005 Chev Aveo has a service engine soon light that comes and goes. Usually it goes away on the highway and then comes back in town. The nice guy at the quick lube place read the code which indicated a "Bank 1 O2 Sensor". Are these difficult to replace or should I have it done by a professional?
I also thought of filling the car up with 91 octane gasoline to see if that would help.
Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

Would help to know the exact code number......
A lot of people, and even techs, make the mistake of just replacing the part the code is named after....
When a code is set, it means that anything in that particular circuit can cause the fault, or anything that affects the way the circuit operates, can cause the fault.....

The heater in the oxygen sensor before the converter was shot. The garage replaced it and every thing is good now.
