Windshield washer nozzle retrofit

I have a 2005 LeSabre. The washer fluid nozzles are mounted on the wiper arm assemblies. I have never seen such a horrible design! They constantly freeze in cold weather. I keep a paperclip to try and clean them out but they freeze up pretty easy.

I was wondering if anyone has ever retrofitted these and installed in-the-hood washer nozzles and bypassed those on the wiper arm assemblies before? I do not think it would be too hard to do, but I've searched several keywords on the forums and online and have not found any good hits.

Thanks in advance.

Moving them the hood will not prevent freezing. If you want to prevent freezing buy better washer fluid. The wet-arm design is actually nice.

There is a reason why they sell some of that stuff so cheap......

I've never seen the good stuff freeze.......have seen dirty reservoirs pump out crap and plug the nozzles....
