2008 frontier code po447

Before you look it up it's the canister purge valve I put two brand new ones on and still get the code I clear the code using the OBDII scanner I'm not getting power to the unit can someone tell me where the wire goes instead of me cutting all the tape and plastic off the harness is the wire broke ? dose it go directly to the ECM ? I just cleared the code but it will be on within 15 miles.And no I did not try pulling off connectors YET to see if one is corroded like in the post I read on check engine light:runaround:
