What year Corvette? In most cases, Revell or Monogram Corvettes are far superior. Good AMT 'Vettes are the '57, '70, '71, '72, '75. The Gulstrand GS 90 is good, because it's the only one out there.

I have 3 AMT kit on my todo list.. working one one right now (F&F Supra) and don't expect Tamiya quality here.. praticly nothing fit corectly. lot of cleaning, lot of sanding, putty and modification to get an aceptable result

I have built the 72,75,96, and 98.I would recommend Revell.AMT(especially the new kits) are built badly,no decals for the gauges and I have problems with attaching the wheels. Some would stick out way too much.

Yeah exactly, i built the 70's kits and i didnt get any decals at all. I'm good at detail painting anyway so i just painted the emblems on, but the quality is at an all time low for AMT. The only AMT's i do are the early 90's kits i get off ebay, those kits actually fit together halfway decent, still needs some work but that makes it fun, otherwise new AMT just sucks ass.

Like everyone else said, AMT's C5 is a load of crap. You are better off getting Revell or Monogram's version.
