2003 Accord Radio code

2003 Accord EX Radio Displays "code".
Called the dealer and got the code number.
Now radio displays "erre". Disconnected the battery for a few seconds and reconnected the battery, but the radio still displays "erre", and froze-up the radio controls.
What gives?
Any help will be appreciated.
