well, i'm not really the person to ask about body kits, but i can help you out on what kind of exhaust that will fit your car and look and sound right. First of all, nobody makes a duel kit for the new cougars. I have seen some cougers have Y-Pipes installed. If you are not familiar with a y-pipe, all it is, is a adaption to your regular straight exhaust pipe that cuts it into two. this will make duels out the back of your cougar that would look pretty cool.:sunglasse Alot of people get those round mufflers with the big 4inch tip when they have this done. Some say that looks importish or ricey. If i were you, i would choose Magnaflow for your car. I would give you the right muffler to choose, but i need to know if your cougar is a 4cylendar or 6. I will be much glad to help you out. Feel free to ask any other questions.

Nopi.com has alot for the Cougar.
Borla is the best for the "low tone" split rear exhaust. I had it on for two years and got alot of comments from it. To be honest you can spend a couple grand in bolt-ons and MAYBE break into the 14's OR spend a couple grand on a turbo kit and have near 300whp. It all depends on how serious you about being fast.
Good luck

Check out customcougars.com they are dedicated to late model (99-02) Cougars. They have a ton of stuff to get you started. Although you will ultimatly have to dig for the really serious stuff. But if you wanted it to be easy you would have bought a civic right? I have a 02 Cougar 35th aniversary edition and i've gotten most of my stuff off of there. The car has alot of potential locked up under there trust me, you just have to know how to get to it.
