Hey a quetion for the forum. I've got a G35 6MT with only 2400 miles on it, and I reached way up to pay for the 30 grand to pay for the car (OK, $28,500), and I'm interested in getting performance upgrades. Can anyone suggest some upgrades, I'd love to get it to the 289hp or whatever the 350z gets out of the same engine. And, a factor for me, I'd like to do it without voiding the warrenty, though I'd be interested in any input. Thanks,

TechnoSquare Inc. has the 350Z ECU upgrade available...They'll make a duplicate of your stock ECU as well if you want one...You'll gain 10HP and 8-9 Ft-Lbs of torque (according to them)- not exactly the 287 crank HP the Z has, but it's a start...Maybe spring for the JUN lightweight flywheel for the VQ35 to free up the extra horsepower and deliver it to the pavement, and it weighs about 12 pounds less than the stock flywheel...When I worked for Nissan I was told Nismo parts won't void the warranty, but definitely get that answer from an official source and hopefully get it in writing...The catalog is out and the parts are supposed to available- I guess overnight them from Japan

www.meggala.com/tunerscss.htm has a link to the Nismo catalog online...It isn't very helpful as far as information and how to order the parts, but it gives you an idea of what is out there...My best suggestion for Japanese parts is to go to www.bulletproofautomotive.com and look into the contacts section...There is a link to contact their 350Z/G35 specialist...He is already locating parts for me and they are reliable

If you want to spend about $38 for the Nismo catalog, and I'm going to- it's 300 pages of Nismo, then go to www.courtesyparts.com and pick it up...They have some Nismo gear too, if you're interested in clothing and accessories...The website is for Courtesy Nissan in Texas
