Well Nick (4G4DStore) and I started the transmission swap on my car today. (AIR TOOLS ARE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD). It went smoothly until we discovered the donor transmission is an 88, requiring a 21-spline clutch compared to my 20-spline current clutch, so we had to go order that, and it will be here tomorrow morning so we can finish up then, but it is all good so far! No snags 'cept this clutch problem, but no biggie, I was actually going to get a new clutch anyway.
We also finished Bryan's (Phact) struts (Tokico blues) and it rides so nice on his coilovers now, just needs an alignment.
Also my problem involving the shaking of the steering wheel I think is due to one of my wheels being out of balance, or the tire itself is no longer round or something. The axles are in good condition, as well as the joints, and there is nothing noticably bad about anything we have taken apart so far (we had to take the struts out and everything to get the axles out).
We're putting my steelies on Phact's car for the drag races saturday so he can run steelies that are pretty much bald (I am getting new tires anyuway) so we'll see if they shake on his car as well.

Sounds good. :) Sometimes wheels go out of round too and can't be corrected without a fair bit of work. Check the tie-rod ends too, it's one of the more suspect parts when you get the wobbles.
