Wierd accident in Lane Cove Sydney

Anyone familiar with epping road Lane Cove in Sydney? Heading away from the city, about 200m before the turn off to Orion Rd there's a pedestrian overpass an a bit of a kink in the road. We went past it a couple of days ago at about 11pm, and an MR2 had somehow spun off the road and was parked backwards up the steps going up to the overpass. It was one of the strangest accidents I've seen... I have no idea how they did it... I couldn't see any skid marks and there didn't seem to be any other cars around... strange.
