2003 T & C bad swaybar

I noticed a while back that there is a vibration when I'm driving my 2003 T&C, and I did have one tire that was going bad, so I spent nearly $500 on all new tires a few months ago. At first it seemed the vibration was pretty much gone, but in the last few weeks I realized that it not only is still there, but seems a little worse. I took the van back to where I bought the tires, thinking that at least one of my brand-spanking new Champions had already gone bad, but alas, the tires are perfect.
The tech says my right swaybar is going bad, and I need to replace the pair, including the bushings and whatnot. This is only going to run about $250.00 (I'm still stinging over the $650 I just plunked down a couple of weeks ago on a new fuel pump), but I'm not going to be able to afford to get it done for about another month.
Is it ok to drive for a while with this? I notice the shimmy more at higher speeds, and can hear some rattling when I hit bumps and such, but don't want anything breaking and stranding me on the side of the road. Again.
Advice?
