BMW K100 Caferacer

It started with a boring BMW K100 from Tamiya. I converted it into a caferacer....

I made a new rearseat, new exhaust, clip-ons, Vmax headlight and trimmed the front mudguard.

Paint is VW Blue Anthracite from Zero Paints.

It was great fun to build a caferacer for the first time. And I planned to build more of them for sure!

The Tamiya kit was a good base for this project. The fittment is perfect. I still have a half bike left over :D Most parts were not used!

A great idea and a great execution! Really interesting... I wouldn't call the stock version boring though, it is an early 80's bike after all. Compared to current machines it looks a lot more restrained for sure... and you drilled out the brake discs, oh joy ! I remember that part vividly when i did my K100 ! rectangular holes !! with a hand drill!! headache !! Keep it coming my friend !
