I have a 2013 Equinox, is there anyway to access a sub menu to change some settings, I have a mylink radio

It's not in the manual?

I am talking about going deeper than that where I need to enter a passcode

Understood, That would likely be in the factory service manual, not the owner's manual.

In order to be more precise with instructions it will be necessary to know the RPO code for the installed radio. Look at the SPID label on the vehicle and read the radio option code. It is usually a "U" code such as "UPO" or UXN" or something similar. "U" codes are customarily related to entertainment systems, so check them all. Alternately, the radio can be removed and the paper Alpha Label on the chassis can be checked. That will usually have the appropriate RPO code on it. However, it's a lot easier to check the SPID label. On an Equinox the SPID label is often in the glove compartment or on the spare tire lid.

Incidentally, reprogramming a MyLink.IntelliLink radio is likely going to require use of an appropriate J2534 interface device and software. The decent interface modules are not inexpensive, often selling for between $1,500 and $2,500 apiece. Software updates can be flashed to the NVRAM of a device (radio, BCM, etc.) with this method.
