about a year ago there was a truck on craigslist that caught my eye due to the price tag of 12k had to click on it and see what it was about. add says truck was 1 or 25 or something (been over a year since iv seen it kinda hard to remember) i remember thinking to myself look at this idiot. asking 12k for a old chevy with almost 300k and needing a transmission at that. i remember add saying the title says mark 3. well fastfowarding a year i ended up getting the same truck for a few 100. At the time i didnt realize it was the same truck. got a new transmission radiator and got it running the best i could for a 300k mile truck. i reposted it for sell and the same guy that had it listed for 12k called me saying same stuff the truck was built by mark 3 ect. this is the first mark 3 that iv really paid any attention too.
my questions are do all ck1500 with the mark 3 conversion have mark iii listed as the model were the ck1500 would normally be.
and there was a sticker that was over the original information sticker that had some information from mark 3. did mark 3 apply there own sticker over the factory one? (driver side door jam)
thanks in advanced. iv searched all over the internet trying to find the answers but have came up short.

Mark III was a manufacturer/modifier primarily of custom "conversion vans". Apparently they did some pickups and perhaps other vehicles also.
Out-of-business in 2000. Some companies are reproducing the decals and such.

"Conversion vans" were a pain in the ass to deal with. The upholstery was always "special", and had to be ordered direct from the conversion company. Graphics also--the decals, stripes, etc. And there was no way to be sure that the monkeys that installed the interior parts didn't put screws through the wiring or into one of the control modules because they really didn't seem to care much where the screws went.
