Freestar 2005 replace door mirror glass

Recently I had a minor accident that cost me the passenger side door mirror glass. I had a similar accident last year and I just replaced the glass by snapping the new one in place.

When I tried to do the same the other day I discovered that I was missing a part: the "cradle" or "cup" that actually hosts the glass (pls see picture) and thus there was nothing to snap the glass into.:uhoh:

The question is can I buy this "cradle" separately or do I have to replace the whole mirror--which is going to be a real pain in the rear end.

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
