Hi I'm Cami I'm 17 years old and I love classic cars, and Im looking at buying one pretty soon here in the next few weeks. However, I'm only 17 and don't know much about cars in general. And being a young girl, I'm a perfect target for someone to try and scam me. Trying to avoid that, and thats why I'm here. Not trying to buy a car that will break down on me on the way home, lol. So what are some good questions I need to ask the dealer about the car before buying? Any help is appreciated!! Thank you!

You need someone who knows cars in general, especially older cars to assist you with this, asking the right questions is not enough.

Cami, if you would like someone local to give you a hand with this, feel free to contact me. I live in Miami, I am 63 years old, and I have been buying and restoring classic cars and motorcycles since I was 15. Incidentally, I happen to have a 17-year-old son and we just a few months ago bought him his first motorcycle, a 1971 Harley Davidson Scrambler. He's into classics also.

PS, I know I am new to this forum but I promise I'm not weird.

Edit, I just realized that you're in Miramar Beach, not Miramar, Florida. Miramar is near Miami, Miramar Beach is not. Though, coincidentally, the first place I lived when I came to Florida in 1973 was Niceville as I stayed with my brother who was stationed at Eglin. So I would not be able to help you in person but I am still more than willing to help you out by email or phone.
