I own a 2000 lumina and I want to change the headlights. The problem is I want an aftermarket headlight and tail light but their either too expensive or won't fit. Can I change the mounting brackets for one style headlight and put another G M mounting bracket (like a Malibu) and make it work?

Nothing wrong with original-style headlight and taillight bulbs. Verify your wiring harness to assure that full voltage is reaching the bulbs, and that the ground is low-resistance.

The plastic lenses for the headlights are a known problem. The manufacturers should be forced to recall every plastic lens since they began using them.

I don't think he is referring to bulbs, I think he means the actual housings.
