Oil Capacity

The 08 CRV calls for 4.4 qts of oil with filter change. However, it appears more can be added if one lets the engine drain for several hours before reinstalling the drain plug and filling it up. I was able to fill to the top of the dip stick with 5.7 qts. 5W-20 is relatively thin oil and am surprised if more than a quart remains if a 'quicky' oil change is performed.
