It's a collector-level diecast model, like their other 1/24 scale diecast models, and so far none have been offered as kits.

Hasagawa do/did the 2000 gt. Very detailed but motorless. I might adapt the Jaguar straight 6.
It would be great to do pop up lamps for this model but fiddly.

Hasagawa also do the Mazda Cosmo, the rival to the 2k gt. Nice pair.

The Hasegawa Hi-Grade series came with a white metal parts motor for the 2000GT. Rare kit, but it was made with motor detail.
