Wolf of Wall Street Contach

Well here's to my next project for 2016. Was not expecting this kit as I got it for gift.

After seeing this render on Instagram, it gave me enough enthusiasm to jump straight into it.

So a quick mock up with some Aoshima mesh wheels (thanks to Raees for getting these for me)

I've glued the flares and sanded the body for prime.

Forgot to take a pic of it primed, here's the first few coats of X-2 base. I had to sand a few hairs outs and it will need another coat.

I've also glued the tail lights and sanded flat and filled to try and replicate the lights Kyza did in his render

So I will have to polish the clear plastic, then mask and paint.

Progress is slow, but steady. Finding energy at night after work is hard at the moment. That looks great, what an awesome stance!
I can't help thinking this would look great with all black wheels too, something like a 5 spoke!
