Honda Accord 2003 ex jerking

I have a Honda Accord 2003 EX v6, automatic transmission. Recently, I have noticed the car jerks.

The car jerks only after I drive around for sometime. When I come to a halt after driving around, there is a noise which I hear. From then on, the gears does not shift correctly.

I see that the engine revs up to 3.5k-4k rpm and suddenly shifts gear, which leads it to jerk.

Even when I am applying brakes or not accelerating and it has to down shift,I can feel sudden jerks.

When I am not accelerating, I can feel small jerks as well with noises. Its like it wants to change gear and then it does not want to.

I had it checked at a transmission shop and they changed the transmission fluid.

But, that did not help either.

Can you tell me what the problem might be here?

How many miles do you have on your car?

How did the transmission shop change your fluid? If they did just drain and fill you need to do it two more times. That may help but it sounds like your transmission is shot. Especially if your ATF has never been changed.

They did a transmission flush. When the transmission starts shooting, it keeps on jerking until I switch of the vehicle.

Any suggestions what I should be doing next?

I have watched a lot of YouTube Honda solenoid cleanings. That is 50/50 chance. But at this point is sounds like you need a new tranny.

You may check with another tranny shop.

I will check with another transmission shop with the cleaning as well as checking for replacing the transmission if needed.
