Hello, newbie here...

just got my 03 camry last week and loving it. i wanted to ask how people deal with paint chips. some people are suggesting that i go get some 3M film protector stuff which is suppose to help but is there anyone that has had experience with that? furthermore, is my best bet in repairing the existing chips just going to the dealer and pick up the paint pen (sorry wrong term).

thanks

I remember using the touch up paint supplied by the dealer a Camry I used to have. It was silver and I never got the paint to match. It ended up looking worse than the original chip. You may want to try that 3M stuff but first see what another car looks like with it so that it doesn't end up looking like an ugly band-aid.

ive only heard bad things about the dealer supplied paint pens. mostly because your paint will fade a little or you might not be able to shake the pen enough to get the color totally mixed which meanas you will have a spot that is either lighter or darker than the original color...i dunno bout the 3m tape tho
