A little more information might help like year, drivetrain configuration, etc, but it looks like for some reason the driveshaft pulled out of the tailshaft of the trans for some reason.

It's a 97 ford 4.6.drive train is. Standard 2 wheel drive transmission using drive shaft to power other axel.. It's separated at the back part of the transmission I'm not very up to par with cars so I really don't know-how to explain it sorry man... It still drives and runs fine just not catching gears very well and wen tow hual is on it catches the gears for some reason

I agree it looks like the driveshaft has pulled out of the transmission tail shaft. Several things could be at play. The engine and trans mounts might have lost their rubber. If you have a two piece driveshaft the mid-shaft bearing might have gone out. The rear axle might have moved from the spring mount. The rear spring shackles might have broken their bolts, totally snapped or broken at the frame connection. Any one of which might have pulled things apart.

Looks more like the rear seal has come out of the tranny for some reason, which would cause it to leak fluid and lead to slipping.
