1995 Ram Charging System Problem

I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.9 L, Auto Transmission,

The problem I seem to be having in the Check Engine Light has been coming on from time to time. The code reads 41, which I know has to do with the voltage being at11.75 or less at the Automatic shutdown. I have cleaned most of the grounds as well as the battery terminals, the relay and the connections going into the underhood fuse box. It will sometimes not throw the CEL for a few days but then other times it will do it everytime I seem to start it up, and the guage seems to be at the low end of normal . I usually wiiggle some of the wires by the fuse box and sometimes I have to jiggle the wire by the alternator and then the light will sometimes go out and the guage will read normal about 14 volts or so.

I checked the Battery to see if it had a full charge and it checked out okay. My question is, Does anyone know why this is doing this, do I need a new alternator or what? My Friend says he thinks it is probably something to do with the ground, but I am at a lsss to know how to correct this

Thank you for your input!!

I believe you answered your question. Check the wiring and connectors that gets the voltage back up when you wiggle them
