Porsche 911 GT2

Hi everyone,
On to my second build for 2016. And it's the second time I've built this kit, but last time it was a commission build.

I've copy cast the rear vent and intakes to make a ducktail rear, but I can swap out for the original part. Also have removed the rear number plate area to mount the 3D printed turbos from TDR innovations.

Was planning to use Work Meister S1 wheels, but then I tried out the SSR mkiii and really like how low it sits. It'll need a bit of suspension mods.

Thanks guys. Sorry for the slow progress, been on holiday. I brought a flexible shaft drive for my Dremel and that got me into cutting out the vents in the ducktail.

More progress,
Still shaping the rear duck tail. Decided to tone it down a bit and have it more subtle. Also removed excess material behind the vents.

Also made a start on scratch building the headers with 1.6mm styrene. I've put the kit header and turbo on the right side for comparison.

Might have to extend the front fender flare down to make the front look right.

Got them on trade me. $14 for 160 of them lol. Already lost one to the carpet. Need plastic tweezers as the won't budge. Strong little buggers 😂
