As a racing car Porsche is the best car. Very powerful engine and most popular in automobile world.:lol2::lol2::lol2:

In 1966 I bought a new Porsche 912. It was red with a 5 speed trans. and gasoline heater.

Before that I had been driving used cars like a Hudson Jet and then VW's.

I had become enamored of the german mystique.

While the porsche was a shiney red color it was noisy, small, low powered, expensive and unreliable.

My late dad's Buick Super was a superior car and faster on acceleration. The disc brakes on the porsche were good.

Among other failures including the compete engine the shift handle came out of the floor and it would not go, shift, nothing.

A new one never seemed to come so my late dad who owned a tool and die shop made one and put it together.

Here is the porsche shift handle bearing that wore out and porsche could not replace in time.

The wooden 'box' it's on is that of a tool and die maker!

In 1969 I ordered a new Ford XL convertible. It was back with a white top, ac and the powerful 429 V8. This real machine was far far superior to that junk porsche. It would do it all!

There was room for everything in it including two deer at once.
