2001 Mercury Sable LS Premium Part Identification and Install

I have a 2001 Mercury Sable LS Premium, and I've discovered a part that needs to be replaced behind the left side of the engine. It's like a long black tube, feels like a dry scratchy foam material, and it's coming apart. I'm not sure what it's for, or what it's called. I took pictures, though, to show where it comes from and where it goes. Only problem is I can't figure out how to include them like the video tutorial shows, as the option isn't available like it is in the video. Under attach files, there is no button to press to do so. I'm posting from my phone. Maybe that's the problem. There's also another black tube that feels like rubber, that I discovered in the process that was just hanging and was connected to nothing. It definitely goes to something. If anyone can help me out and point me in the right direction with both of these parts, I would really appreciate it.
