Thermostat

I have a 98 Isuzu Rodeo the temperature gauge is going to the hot side but not in the red but on the far right side in the white close to the red , do I need a new thermostat? And does somebody have a picture of where this thing is located at?

The upper radiator hose usually goes to the thermostat housing on the engine. The 4 cylinder housing may have two bolts, the six cylinder housing may have four bolts. Some antifreeze is poisonous to humans and animals. Catch and dispose of properly.
