To do this I have to remove the wiper arms. OK, but before I remove stuff I want to know how to put it back. My 8 lb GM Shop Manual tells me where to place the tips from the bottom edge of the glass when I'm ready to replace them, but they are going to be removed in the park position. No way can I put the blades in those replacement positions before I remove them. Something doesn't compute! Anyone out there want to take a stab at this?

Remove the wiper arms....do what you have to do.......before putting the arms back on, cycle the the motor to low speed ....then turn them off, and the motor will put the wiper transmission in the park position....now put the arms back on with the tips at the position given in the manual....I just put them on, so the arms are parallel with the center of the windshield....the lower one should just be above the plastic cowl, and the other about 1/2-1" above the lower one....
