2005 Power antenna problem

Just purchased a 2005 Santa Fe today with electric rear antenna. Supposed to extend when radio is turned on, then descend when shut off. I hear 8 "clicks" from the antenna area each time, but the antenna itself doesn't move. Any suggestion other than replacement? Thanks in advance...

I'm sorry to say that in my experience what you're describing sounds like a jammed antenna, it's probably bent. Unfortunately it's not even worth trying to straighten the antenna out because it probably won't even work. Replacement is the answer.
