Virtual Reality

Hello,
Im from Romania. I believe there is something wrong with the world we live in. People have evolved very much technologically (created cars, television, internet, mobile phones) but regressed very much spiritually (there isnt much love, kindness, faith in God, etc among people). I believe man created machines in order to make their life easier, but somewhere, the machines took control and created a simulated reality, after the model of the world in the beggining of the 21st century. Im looking for a man who can explain more on this issue. Where can i find help ?
