New Explorer - engine question

I'm a huge fan of Ford's SUVs, now I've got 2005 Explorer, over 180K miles and I think the time is come. I really interested in 2016 Explorer, engine range has 3 engines, one traditional V6 and two is turbocharged.
2.3L is impressively fuel-efficient, but what for reliability? And turbocharger meaning premium fuel only?
Will it better to buy a N/A V6?

The EcoBoost turbo engines have been pretty reliable so I wouldn't be too concerned with the reliability any more than any other modern engine. Also, with all of the sensors on a modern engine, just because and engine has a turbo does not mean it will require premium fuel. However, the engine will "de-tune" if you're not using premium, therefore you will not get the advertised power if you choose to run lower octane fuel.
Also I would caution that very few EcoBoost owners actually yield the advertised fuel economy numbers during normal driving.
